Accepted

I only get one evening in Peterborough, so I'm glad I didn't do Sunday at Brewery Tap now, because I can now to tonight (Tuesday 3rd November) at The Dragon in Werrington.  A much friendlier open mic run by my friend Stacey.  I know I won't be rejected here, I expect most people will be happy and surprised to see me!

It's been a hard choice for tonight between Trevor Smith's karaoke at The Cherry Tree and Stacey Lowth's open mic at a The Dragon.

Rejected!

For the second time I have been rejected from Oakham Mic Night Peterborough at The Brewery Tap!  And I am now no longer welcome as they no longer allow vocalists with backing tracks, only people who are in bands or play an instrument!

Fortunately I had not quite made it to The Tap when I saw their new stance on a comment to my Facebook post.

I was looking forward to playing The Tap again as it has been about six months since I've performed there and I always go down well with the audience.  As I comment on their message "Oh well!  Your loss and your loss of business."
