Whilst +Joy Autumn promotes the hell out of her latest album “Sunny Lemonade”, her first child, Sunny’s big sister, goes relatively unnoticed.
I wouldn’t have even know Scarlett existed if it hadn’t come up in +Apple Music , but it is a joy to listen to (no pun intended), a definite hidden gem! I’ve been meaning to have a listen to it for a while and tonight I finally got around to it, starting towards the end of my evening walk.
All the tracks on the album are good and there’s an interesting cover or #Rihanna’s #Umbrella.
Track 4 - Back Off reminds me very much of +Caro Emerald and I could see Caro singing this song! It definitely has an electro-swing styling! (And 4 years before electro-swing became a thing too!)
All in all Scarlett is a great little album. A definite good debut.
